Where we are located
Cal Taverner is situated in Montsonís, a small medieval village located at the foot of the mountain range of the Montsec and very near to Artesa de Segre. It belongs to the region of La Noguera, between Ponts, Tàrrega and Lleida.
At the end of the valley, the Segre River has been depositing throughout the years interesting geologic sediments, making it possible to find fossils or even to look for gold. Surrounding the valley is the Mountain range of the Montsec, a preserved area with numerous rockclimbing routes, and tracks and fountains to discover.
Through the ages Montsonís village has been able to protect its roots and its historical past. That is what has given it throughout the years a special enchantment. Taking a walk and enjoying what we come across is one of the best things that we can do. Walk through the streets and, between each house, catch a glimpse of the landscape in the distance.

Completely restoredCal Taverner is a three storey house, restored some time ago and with a capacity for 10-11 people.
We enter into the house by the main street of Montsonís. The main street leads directly to the castle. Almost all its rooms are orientated towards the south; the sitting dining room offers impressive views of the valley of the Segre.
