Popular celebrations
- Coming to Cal Taverner at the beginning of autumn, the lovers of theatre can go to Tàrrega and enjoy the important international theatre fair of southern Europe, which is celebrated every year during the second weekend of September.
- For those who like popular celebrations, Montsonís organises the city Celebrations on the third Saturday of August. The village will be full of playful activities of all type and will breathe a festive atmosphere.
- On the other hand, the city of Lleida, a few kilometres away from Montsonís, can be for the visitors a perfect place to know - and participate in - different typical popular and traditional acts of the area. At the beginning of May, Lleida celebrates one of its greater celebrations. The "Castellers", the fireworks, the "Habaneras" or the traditional battle between Moors and Christians, are some of the outstanding acts of the festive program. The traditional offering to the saint Sant Anastasi and the Battle of Flowers are other traditions that the visitors cannot miss. And for the smallest, the "Parque de las Sonrisas" (Park of the Smiles), also during the main Town Festival Celebration, the best of circus shows, clowns, stories and music.
